Pieces made of four squares fall one at a time. Move and rotate them to make complete horizontal lines, which clear and score points. The pieces fall faster every ten lines, and the game ends when the stack reaches the top.
Controls
On a keyboard: left and right arrows move, up arrow rotates, down arrow drops a little faster, space drops the piece straight down, and P pauses. On a phone, use the buttons under the board: hold left, right or down to repeat.
Scoring
Clearing one line scores 100 times your level, two lines 300, three lines 500 and four lines at once 800. Dropping a piece yourself adds a few points as well.
Tips
- Keep the stack flat. Holes under a piece are hard to fix.
- Use the next piece preview. Plan where the next shape will go before you place this one.
- Leave one column open. Saving a deep gap for the long piece scores four lines at once.
- Use the ghost outline. The faint shape shows exactly where the piece will land.
