Add everyone's name, optionally list pairs who should not draw each other (like partners), set a budget, and draw. Reveal each match privately by passing the device around, so nobody sees anyone else's result.
The draw makes a single loop of gift-giving where nobody draws themselves and none of your excluded pairs end up together. If your exclusions make a valid draw impossible, the tool tells you instead of giving a bad result.
For a surprise that stays a surprise, use the pass-the-device reveal: each person sees only their own match, then hides it before handing it on. The full list is hidden by default, so even the organizer can stay in the dark.
Names are processed in your browser only — nothing is stored, sent or saved, so refreshing the page starts fresh. Need groups instead of gift pairs? Try the random team generator.
Frequently asked questions
Can I stop couples from drawing each other?
Yes. Type one pair per line in the exclusions box, like Alex & Sam, and neither will draw the other.
How many people do I need?
At least three. With two people each would simply draw the other.
Does the organizer see who got whom?
Not unless you open the full list. The pass-the-device mode shows each person only their own match.
Is my list stored anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser and disappears when you close or refresh the page.
What if the draw fails?
That means your exclusions make a valid draw impossible, for example when too many people exclude each other. Remove one exclusion and draw again.
